Man charged with the murder of Joseph Leach
A man has been charged with the murder of Joseph Leach, who died from his injuries more than year after being assaulted in Washington.
Joseph, 32, suffered serious injuries following an incident in Woodland Terrace in Washington on December 23, 2013.
He was taken to the RVI in Newcastle where he subsequently died on April 2, 2015.
Karl Pascoe, from Blackfell, Washington, has today been charged with his murder. The 31-year-old is due to appear before South Tyneside Magistrates' Court on April 15.
