LISTEN: Alan Robson and Ross Noble and the lesser spotted Crocodile

The comedian joined Alan Robson

Published 16th Dec 2016

Ross Noble popped in to co-host Alan Robson’s NightOwls show on Thursday 15th December and there was only one matter Alan wanted to talk to him about.

Back in 2000, Ross performed at a gig at Newcastle Uni and put the audience up to ringing the legendary phone-in show that night with claims of spotting a Crocodile in Newcastle’s Heaton Park.

Alan was inundated with calls and claims of sightings and even one caller claiming their dog had been taken by the snapper.

National newspapers covered the story and a tracker team from Bristol travelled to the region to hunt it down.

Have a listen to the chat they had on the link below where they re-live the best moments of the prank.

Alan recently celebrated his 40th anniversary presenting on Metro Radio. To celebrate, Geordie duo Ant and Dec sent him a little message all the way from Australia!
