Blast Off! In the Experiment Zone, older kids (7+) can start their journey of discovery mixing real chemicals together to launch their own rocket. Families can also explore the wonders of the Cosmos in the Space Zone which includes a replica of part of the International Space Station.
Families can embark on an epic hunt for alien life in the 360° digital planetarium show We are Aliens, narrated by Rupert Grint which takes visitors on a journey through the Solar System.
Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear is released in UK cinemas from June 17, and tells the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy. It follows the legendary Space Ranger after he’s marooned on a hostile planet 4.2 million light-years from Earth alongside his commander and their crew.
Gaia - a gleaming seven-meter diameter model ‘Earth’ adds the WOW factor to a visit. Created by British Artist Luke Jerram, Gaia highlights the fragility and wonder of our planet as viewed by astronauts in Space and is one of only five permanent installations of the artwork in the world.
Under-7s will particularly enjoy their own dedicated Play Zone, Discovery Backpacks and hands-on, pop-up play stations at Life.
