Kings of Leon confirmed as second headliner for Newcastle’s Come Together Festival
With The Courteeners as special guests
Following the announcement of Robbie Williams on Wednesday 4th June, Come Together Festival reveals another headline act. Kings of Leon will headline on Sunday 8th June 2025 as part of the inaugural event on Newcastle’s Town Moor.
The American alternative rock band have previously headlined Coachella, Glastonbury Festival, multiple Lollapaloozas, as well as Reading & Leeds three times and Hyde Park an unprecedented and record-breaking five times. Being one of only a select few artists who have also performed at both Newcastle’s St James’ Park and Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, Kings Of Leon will take to the stage at Town Moor for the Sunday of the North East’s biggest ever music festival.
Joining Kings of Leon will be an incredible roster of special guests, including Courteeners, known for their chart-topping tracks "Not Nineteen Forever" and "Lose Control.”
Come Together Festival will take place from 4th to 8th June 2025 at the Town Moor, and with a range of ticket options, the festival promises to be an accessible and unforgettable experience for fans of all kinds of music. More acts and dates to be revealed soon.

Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon (Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass) and Matthew Followill (guitar)) have released nine albums - Youth & Young Manhood (2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), Because of the Times (2007), Only by the Night (2008), Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013), WALLS (2016), When You See Yourself (2021) and ‘Can We Please Have Fun’ (2024) ,sold over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide. In addition, they have had eight Grammy Nominations, three Grammy Award wins, three NME Awards, two Brit Awards, and one Juno Award.
One of the most successful UK bands of the last 16 years, Courteeners are an English guitar group – Liam Fray, Michael Campbell & Daniel Moores – formed in Manchester in 2006. Lauded by Q Magazine as one of “the world’s biggest underground acts”, all of their albums have gone Top 10.
In 2023, their lauded album St. Jude reached Number 1 for the very first time with its 15th anniversary edition and became the album with the longest time between release and charting at Number 1 in UK chart history, according to the Official Charts Company. The band played their third sell out 50,000 capacity headline show at Heaton Park in June to celebrate the anniversary of the album.
