Katie Price has thrown her support behind Metro Radio's Sticks and Stones campaign, after her son was targeted by online bullies.

We’re pushing the government to introduce compulsory lessons around cyber bullying in all schools, so that kids can protect themselves and others against cyber bullying bullying.

There are thousands of victims in our region being taunted 24/7 through mobiles, laptops and tablets.

We’ve heard from teenagers and parents across our region so far, but the mum of five has become latest celebrity to join #SticksandStones after telling us about her son's horrendous online abuse.

As well as education around online bullying, Katie thinks it should go even further. She’s campaigning for it to be made a criminal offence.
