Investigation underway after man found dead in Newcastle

Police in Newcastle are investigating the death of a man at an address in the early hours of this morning (14th Nov)
Officers were called to Dilston Road in Newcastle shortly after 6am after receiving reports of concern for a man’s welfare.
A man was found dead at the scene, his death is being treated as unexplained.
Officers remain at the scene this morning while they carry out investigations
A Northumbria Police spokesperson added: “Shortly after 6am today (Monday) we received a report of concern for the welfare of a man at an address on Dilston Road, Newcastle.
“Emergency services attended the scene and found a man who was deceased. His death is currently being treated as unexplained and a full investigation has been launched.
