Greggs are launching a new delivery service in Newcastle

It’s the news every Greggs fans have been dreaming of and now the popular bakery chain has announced they are starting a brand new delivery service.
The new scheme will be trialled in Newcastle and then expanded nationwide if it’s a success in the North East.
The current Greggs in the Cobalt Business Park will run as the guinea pig store, allowing the business park’s 14,000 workers to place their orders. The trial will then flow to Newcastle City Centre before moving to London and Manchester in the near future.

The news comes as it was announced that Newcastle is the Greggs capital of the UK, with a massive 29 stores. (That’s a lot of sausage rolls!)
