Gateshead stabbing - Witnesses sought
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Gateshead.
Police were called to a telephone kiosk on Crowhall Lane in Felling at 12.37pm yesterday, Tuesday, February 16, following reports of an injured man.
Officers attended and found a 41-year-old man with a stab injuries.
He was taken tohospital where he is receiving treatment.
Officers are at the scene carrying out enquiries and are appealing for witnesses.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to contact police.
