Police have identified three people killed in a crash in Gateshead.
Police have identified the three people killed in the crash in Gateshead.
A car collided with a lorry in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Fellside Road near Whickham Gold Club.
The driver of the car was 43-year-old Andrew James Clark from Swalwell.
The two passesngers were Jennifer Fradgeley, 17, from Gateshead and Kaitlin Tremlett, 17, also from Gateshead.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said:
“Our thoughts are with the friends and families of those involved in this tragic incident.” Enquiries are ongoing into the collision and anyone with any information that could help police with their investigation is asked to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 92 10/08/16
