French Bulldog gets head stuck in railings in North Tyneside.
Bella got into a pickle and was rescued by the fire service.
Earlier this week two-and-a-half year old French Bulldog Bella caused a bit of a drama for her owner Jamie, when she got her head and front legs stuck between some metal railings.
The pet rescue occurred on Wednesday afternoon outside the home of Bella’s owner in Battlehill, Wallsend.
The Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service crew from Red Watch at Wallsend Community Fire Station managed to safely free Bella by prising a part the metal bars by using a specialist hydraulic spreader.
Jamie said that the rescue team were ‘brilliant’ and Bella lapped up the attention.
Bella is now back in her owner’s arms safe and hound.
