It's a Fact - Men Are Idiots

Men are idiots and that's a scientific fact. Researchers from Newcastle University found men are more likely to take part in idiotic risk taking behaviour. They've studied what they call the 'male idiot theory' and say men are more likely to take unnecessary risks in exchange for bragging rights.

They say many of the differences in risky behaviour may be explained by men being idiots and the fact that idiots do stupid things.

They looked at the sex of winners of the Darwin Award, for people who have died in a stupid way, over a 20 year period.

Highlighted in the research are a man who attached a shopping trolley to the back of a train, only to be dragged two miles to his death and a terrorist who accdientally posted a letter bomb to himself.

The research found Males thus made up 88.7% of Darwin Award winners, which confirmed their hypothesis that men are idiots and idiots do stupid things.

However, they added the greater amount of alcohol drunk by men and the fact that men seem to take part in such high risk escapades to show off to their mates may contribute to the results.
