Crown court date for man charged with murder of David Wilson

A man has appeared in court charged with murder more than 18 months after Sunderland dad David Wilson was found dead.

The 49-year-old's body was found inside an address on Southwick Road back in 2014.

Daniel Johnson, from Gateshead, appeared via video link at South Tyneside Magistrates earlier today.

The 20-year-old has been remanded in custody and will appear before Newcastle Crown Court on Friday (July 22nd).
