Change of date for Newcastle's Come Together Festival
Scheduling conflicts threatened the shows....so they've moved dates
Come Together Festival will now take place across Wednesday 20th and Friday 22nd of August 2025, as organisers confirm the new dates for the anticipated live music event on Newcastle’s Town Moor. Originally set for June, the event will now go ahead later in the summer – with Robbie Williams and Kings of Leon headlining alongside Courteeners, Kaiser Chiefs, Perrie, The Reytons and more.
Following scheduling challenges TEG Europe, has made the decision to reschedule the event to August – ensuring it could still take place in 2025. Thanks to the support of Newcastle City Council and the Freemen of the City, Come Together will now take place on the iconic Hoppings site, offering more space, stronger infrastructure, and an even better experience for fans.
Toby Leighton-Pope, CEO of TEG Europe, said:
“We didn’t want to let the North East down. When scheduling conflicts threatened the shows, we worked hard behind the scenes to find a solution – and thankfully, this move to August means we can still bring something really special to Newcastle.
The Town Moor is an iconic location, and with the support of our partners, we’re proud to be delivering such a huge event for the region.”
David Wilson, Chairman of the Freemen of Newcastle upon Tyne, added:
“It is important that the Town Moors fulfil multiple roles at the highest levels to contribute to maximum effect for the benefit of the City and the Region.
Making the Town Moors available for internationally acclaimed artists of the calibre of Robbie and Kings of Leon to perform on the Town Moor is an important part of this strategy. The recent Newcastle United celebrations show how incredible it is when the City comes together on our unique site. Although the delay will be frustrating for some, moving the show to August will ensure that operators TEG can deliver an even more exceptional event on which we can build in future years.”
All tickets remain valid for the new August dates. Existing ticket holders will be contacted directly with clear next steps and support from your point of purchase.
