Two children, believed to be from Africa, are being tested for Ebola in Newcastle.

The Royal Victoria Infirmary is one of three treatment centres outside of London.

Public Health England said it is unlikely the children have Ebola, but they are being tested as a precaution.

It is also unknown where in Africa they are from or when they arrived in the UK.

Test results are expected on Friday (28th November) and people who have been in contact with the children have been advised to continue as normal.
