CCTV appeal after incident on a bus in Gateshead.
Between 4:05pm and 4:20pm on Thursday, November 3, racist comments were made towards a 13-year-old boy on the number 21 Go NorthEast bus near Durham Road in Birtley. Enquiries are ongoing into the offence and officers are releasing an image of a woman they want to identify and speak to about the incident. She was on the bus at the time it happened and may have information that could help with enquiries. Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 205 08/11/16.
