Bertie breaks Guinness World Record for the fastest tortoise
The Usain Bolt of the tortoise world has raced into the record books as the fastest ever.
Bertie - who lives at Adventure Valley in County Durham - covered 18 feet in 19-point-59 seconds - smashing the previous best set in 1977.
Other record holders this year include the world's tallest married couple and the longest fur on a rabbit.
