A man has been arrested after 34 homes in South Shields had to be evacuated after a gas leak.
A man has been arrested after 34 homes in South Shields had to be evacuated after a gas leak.
People were asked to temporarily leave their homes on Trinity Walk at 6pm on Tuesday (3rd March).
They were allowed home after a property was made safe.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
