Ambulance passenger injured after crash
A woman in her 80's has been left with serious injuries after the ambulance she was in was involved in a crash near Houghton-Le-Spring.
It happened around 9pm on Friday 14th April on the A19 north of B1404 Seaton Lane.
A red Seat car collided with a North East Ambulance Service vehicle.
Police are investigating and asking for anyone with DashCam footage to come forward.
