Alan Pardew being lined up for Crystal Palace Job?

Newcastle boss Alan pardew refused to speak to the media following his side's 3-2 win against Everton.

It's after he's being linked with a take over at his old club Crystal Palace.

Despite Newcastle's vital win thanks to goals from Papiss Cisse, Ayoze Perez and Jack Colback, Pardew left his assistant John Carver to step in for the post-match press conference.

He refused to comment on his boss' future but said he was happy with yesterday's win, which put the team in 9th position, saying;

''he's delighted it's a fantastic result for us.

''You know we've been on a run of games where we didn't win, we've had a difficult period against good opposition but we've actually set about them and it's probably been one of our best performances in recent times.''
