Additional Support Act for Foo Fighters in Sunderland

With just six days to go until they kick off the UK leg of their ‘Sonic Highways’ tour on Wearside, US rock gods Foo Fighters have announced an additional support act for their headline show.

With UK music giants Kaiser Chiefs already confirmed, it has been announced that Irish rock band The Strypes will kick off the evening’s entertainment.

Around 50,000 fans will flock to Sunderland on Monday, as Foo Fighters take to the Stadium of Light stage. The first support act is expected on stage at around 6pm and fans are advised to arrive at the stadium as early as possible to avoid queues or delays on entry. External courtyards will be open from approximately 2pm and vast array of food and drink options will be available.

A small number of additional general admission and seated tickets with prime views have been released for the show and are available to buy directly from the Stadium of Light ticket office or by calling the ticket hotline, 0191 551 5004.

The ticket office is open 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 10am until 1pm on Saturdays.
