The 10 most popular gigs of 2016 in Newcastle have been revealed

This year venues across Newcastle have played host to some fantastic gigs from Little Mix at the Metro Radio Arena to Catfish and the Bottlemen at Newcastle Times Square, but which were the most popular gigs of 2016?
A Ticketmaster survey asked 85 million fans around the world what their most popular live event was and according to the research Disney on Ice topped the list in Newcastle with Little Mix in second place.

When it came to the national results Coldplay appeared three times in the Top 10, in first, fifth and seventh places.

Ticketmaster have also released details for the most anticipated events of 2017 which unsurprisingly also includes Coldplay in second place, along with Take That and Robbie Williams in third and first places respectively.
