David Bowie has unveiled the video to his brilliant new single ‘The Stars (Are Out Tonight)’.
Directed by Floria Sigismondi, the video stars Bowie and Tilda Swinton as a (slightly unconvincing) suburban couple who get disturbed when a pair of nuisance neighbours – played by Saskia De Brauw and Andrej Pejic – move in.
Thematically the video deals with androgyny, fame, mundane every day life and undoubtedly much, much more on closer inspection.
‘The Stars (Are Out Tonight)’ is available to download right now and Bowie’s twenty-fourth studio album ‘The Next Day’ lands on Monday 11th March.
