Ed Sheeran has confirmed he will not be quitting music!

The news comes as MTV.co.uk speculated the 'Castle on the Hill' singer would be taking a break of five to ten years following his Divide World Tour.

In the article the entertainment website said sources close to Ed said, 'he wants to take a back seat after his Divide World Tour wraps up', some even said he could 'quit music forever'.

The website also quoted a source telling the Daily Star, 'Ed has pretty much achieved everything there is to achieve in music.

'He absolutely loves what he does and is riding the wave of his success at the moment, but at the same time he wants a more normal life.'

However, the 26-year-old singer has responded to this on Twitter saying, 'Das Bollocks'

Which is good news for fans who had already taken to social media to express their upset at the prospect of Ed quitting music.

Ed has had a phenomenal year so far releasing countless songs, many of which have entered the top 10, including this two comeback singles 'Castle On The Hill' and 'Shape of You'.
