Tom Hardy Licked By Pit Bull Co-Star at 'The Drop' Premiere
His new movie hits cinemas this autumn
Tom Hardy was at the receiving end of a very public display of affection at The Drop premiere in New York City last night.
However, the smacker on his lips didn’t come from Noomi Rapace and Elizabeth Rodriguez but his other co-star, pit bull Zora.
Picking up and tickling Zora at the Sunshine Theatre screening, the pooch affectionately licked Tom’s face in front of the cameras as the actor put on an exaggerated wince.
In the gritty crime-drama movie, which hits cinema screens in the UK this November, the plot centres on Tom’s character Bob Saginowski who rescues Zora the dog.
The film also stars the late Sopranos actor James Gandolfini as Cousin Marv in his final movie role before his death in June 2013.
His son Michael (pictured below) attended last night’s screening with his father’s widow Deborah Lin.
One of the hottest talents in the movie world, Tom Hardy stars in three big movies coming out in 2015 – Child 44, Mad Max: Fury Road (as main character Max Rockatansky) and Legend where he plays both of the infamous Kray Twins.
