The nicest man in entertainment™ strikes again
Ed Sheeran has cemented his seemingly untouchable status as the nicest man in entertainment™ yet again!
A day after receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Suffolk, the flame-haired acoustic-pop sensation visited a care home in his home town of Framlingham to open a suite named in his honour.
Flanked by the residents, Ed cut the green ribbon at the Mills Meadow Care Home to inaugurate the newly built Sheeran Suite.
Mills Meadow's home manager, Sue Hill, told the BBC: "We are over the moon that Ed could visit us and officially open our new Sheeran Suite.
"Ed is delightful. We are really grateful that he could spare the time in his busy schedule to pop in."
Resident Mary Swan, who stood by Ed as he cut the ribbon, enthused: "It was a very exciting day and I enjoyed meeting Ed. I even got his autograph."
As well as opening the suite, Ed was presented with a Lego set built by the residents. Ed’s 2011 hit was of course called ‘Lego House’ and sold over 600,000 copies in the UK alone.
