Kim Kardashian Accuses Press of Twisting Kanye Wheelchair Incident
She hits out at the media on Instagram
Kim Kardashian has hit out at the media after reports emerged over the weekend claiming that Kanye West asked disabled fans to stand up at a gig in Sydney.
Last Friday night (12th September), Kanye stopped his show at the Qantas Credit Union Arena and told the 13,000 strong crowd: “I can't do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t.”
YouTube footage emerged of Kanye West singling out two audience members, only to soon discover one was in a wheelchair and the other had a prosthetic limb.
Defending her husband, Kim shared a video of the tour with her 18million Instagram followers and wrote:
“What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media. Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings”
Kanye West wrapped up the Australian leg of his Yeezus Tour at Brisbane Entertainment Centre last night (15th September).
