Game of Thrones' Lena Headey expecting second baby
She asks for privacy from the press
Lena Headey has announced she’s expecting her second baby.
The 41-year-old star, best known for playing evil royal Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones, said she was delighted to confirm the news but urged the press to respect her privacy.
“I’m happy to confirm that I’m having my second child this summer,” Headey said.
“I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time.”
Headey gave birth to her first son, Wylie Loughran, in March 2010. She divorced from Wylie’s dad, musician Peter Loughran, in December 2013.
The fifth series of Game of Thrones starts on Sky Atlantic on Monday 13th April.
