Former Dancing On Ice and The Jump contestant Chloe Madeley has announced her engagement to her rugby player boyfriend James Haskell.
Chloe revealed details of James' romantic proposal during a recent photo shoot with Hello Magazine, describing the romantic moment which took place in Paris.
Admitting she was shocked at his proposal, Chloe revealed James said, "You do know how much I love you, don’t you? The last three and a half years have been the best years of my life."
She then added, "I just thought he was being romantic because we were in Paris, so I replied, "Oh babe, that’s so sweet."
But then James added, "And you do know I want to marry you?" and started to get down on one knee. At first I thought he was joking. I was speechless and stared at him in disbelief. My first thought was, "Oh my God, he has a ring!”
As if the proposal wasn't romantic enough, England rugby star James revealed he actually designed the ring himself, admitting he wanted it to be 'perfect'. He told Hello, "That ring was a labour of love for me. I designed it for Chloe myself because I wanted it to be perfect and for her to love it."
Chloe, who is the daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, first started dating James back in 2014.
Since announcing their happy news, fans of the personal trainer have been quick to send her messages, congratulating the couple on their happy news.
One Instagram user wrote, 'So happy for you both...such a beautiful couple 💕😍', with another adding, 'Congratulations to you both. Beautiful photo too xx'. sic
Another with the username kerryh73 then added, 'Congratulations!!! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness xxx x💕💕💕'. sic
Chloe appeared on Dancing On Ice back in 2011 and was paired with French skater Michael Zenezini. Impressing viewers with her skating skills, Chloe made it into the final three of the competition, but was beaten by former EastEnders star Sam Attwater.
After a landing a number of TV presenting roles off the back of her Dancing On Ice appearance, Chloe later took part in Channel 4 show The Jump.
The 30-year-old is now a fitness fanatic and often keeps her fans up to date with healthy eating plans and workouts.
