Celebrity Masterchef line-up revealed to include Strictly Come Dancing and EastEnders stars
This should be interesting!
Last updated 16th May 2018
Ahead of the upcoming 13th series of Celebrity Masterchef the full line-up has been revealed. The line-up consists of a broad range of celebrities including Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Pritchard and EastEnders actor John Partridge (who plays Christian Clarke).
The line-up also includes cricketer Monty Panesar, and Dolly Parton's sister, Stella, as well as former lead singer of T'Pau, Carol Decker, and Chizzy Akudolu from Holby City.
This year the Celebrity Masterchef contestants will face the usual judges John Torode and Greg Wallace when the series starts later in the year. Although a start date hasn't been announced yet it usually begins a few months after the main programme finishes.

Stella Parton
The younger sister of US country singer Dolly Parton.
This year the celebrities will be split into groups of five. They will then compete in the 'heat' rounds during the first four weeks, facing the Mystery Box Challenge and cooking in a professional restaurant kitchen. Then, after eliminating some of the less popular celebrities, in the remaining two weeks they will take place in the Pairs Challenge. The Pairs Challenge will see the celebrities being split into two teams of two.
In the Pairs Challenge each pair will cook the same dish, but there will be a wall dividing the team members! Because of this they will have to be very vocal with their instructions so the team dishes are identical. Sounds tricky!
The series will then end with a final special episode which is 90 minutes, featuring the remaining three celebrities.
Speaking about the line-up announcement the BBC's commissioning editor, Carla-Maria Lawson, said the line-up was "wonderfully diverse" and they would be "Out of their comfort zones, but determined to make their mark in the MasterChef kitchen."
We can't wait to see this! Celebrity Masterchef will be shown on TV later in the year.
