Man jailed after crash injured children at bus stop in Wymondham

A man has been jailed for 36 weeks after a collision involving two children at a bus stop on Folly Road, Wymondham.

Georgie Theo, 28, of Fairlight Avenue, Ramsgate, was sentenced today (20th November) at Norwich Magistrates’ Court.

He had previously pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and failing to report an accident.

Theo was also disqualified from driving for 2 years and 4 months, until an extended test of competence is passed.

Additionally, he was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £187.

The collision on 8th September 2025 resulted in one child suffering minor injuries, while another pedestrian was treated for shock but was unharmed.

Police confirmed that another man arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking has been released without charge and will face no further action.
