Work underway at Gorleston hospital
It's to improve the adult waiting room at the Emergency Department
Work is underway at the Emergency Department at the James Paget University Hospital.
The adult waiting room is being improved, as part of the ongoing expansion of facilities at the Gorleston site, which includes a new main entrance, new reception area, clinical triage facilities and a larger waiting area for patients.
Work on this stage of the project started yesterday (15 February) and is expected to be completed in around 10 weeks' time.
There will be staff on hand, and appropriate signage, to direct anyone going to the hospital during this period.
