A woman's suffered 'life changing injuries' and a child is being treated in hospital after falling out a car in Taverham last week.

It happened on the A1067 Fakenham Road at around 9:54pm on Friday (April 21) as a blue Volvo V40 was driving along the road.

The woman, in her 30s, has been treated at Addenbrookes Hopsital for serious injuries, where she remains.

The child suffered minor injuries and is still being cared for by doctors at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.

Police are now trying to trace any witness, particularly a woman who was driving a white BMW 1 series and stopped to help those at the scene.
