Police are investigating a burglary and theft of two vehicles between 11pm on Valentine's Day and 6.30am the next day.

A property in Mount Pleasant was broken into where cash, bank cards and car keys were stolen from inside.

They were used to steal an orange Peugeot 208 (KV16 AZX) and a red Ford Galaxy (AF53 OXR).

Both cars were later found abandoned in Robertsbridge Walk, Carlton Colville, and Sharon Drive in Lowestoft respectively.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting 37/7574/21 or 37/7579/21 for the stolen Ford.
