Officers were called at around 4pm yesterday to HMP Peterborough, finding the 45 year old unresponsive in his cell.

The man had been arrested and released on bail after being questioned on suspicion of the murder of 47 year old Eliza Bibby at her home in Beechwood Road on January 10.

She had suffered multiple stab wounds.

The 45 year old suspect was being held at HMP Peterborough on remand in connection with an unrelated case.

A 42 year old woman from Wisbech has also been arrested and bailed in connection with the Eliza Bibby murder case.
