King's Lynn Town boss Tommy Widdrington signs contract extension
He's committed to stay at The Walks until at least the summer of 2024
King's Lynn Town boss Tommy Widdrington has agreed to stay with the club until the summer of 2024.
The 50 year old has been in charge at The Walks since December last year and is now overseeing a post-relegation rebuild of the Linnets.
The club has the option to extend his deal by a further year.
Former player Widdrington arrived in Norfolk in 2021 with more than a decade of management experience under his belt; having spent time heading up Salisbury City, Eastbourne Borough and Bristol Rovers.
On the pitch, he made over 350 appearances in the Football League in a 15 year playing career, with spells at Grimsby Town. Southampton, Port Vale and Hartlepool.
Tommy now urging local fans to 'get on board', with the National League South campaign starting on Saturday away at Bradford Park Avenue.
