Visiting restrictions eased at King's Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital
It's the number of cases of Covid-19 across the region is falling
Visiting restrictions are being relaxed at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, after being stepped up in response to a Covid-19 outbreak.
Open visiting is now allowed across all areas of the hospital between 10am and 8pm every day.
Patients are still allowed two visitors at any one time, although there's now need to book in advance.
Those attending outpatient appointments may bring along one other person.
Vistors must continue to wear facemasks while on the site and to wash their hands when entering or exiting wards,
Alice Webster, Acting CEO at QEH said: “We know how important visiting is for our patient’s recovery so it’s fantastic news that we are able to further relax our visiting restrictions to allow longer visiting hours, especially with the Christmas period just around the corner.”
