Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses after a van collided with crash barriers on the A47.

The force say officers were called out shortly before 8am on the 17th of March to reports a vehicle travelling along the A47 towards Great Yarmouth between Harford Bridges and Trowse had struck the barrier.

The incident involved a white Peugeot Boxer van on the section of road as it crosses the River Tay.

As a result of the collision the driver of the van suffered a shoulder injury.

There was also significant damage to a crash barrier and structural damage to the bridge section of the road, which is being repaired.
