The church in the village of Buxton, near Aylsham in Norfolk, is getting a new bell, thought to be the only one that has the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee logo on it.

There is a service of dedication taking place at 7pm on Wednesday April 19th led by Rev Canon Julie Boyd, with the Bishop of Norwich conducting the blessing of the bell.

The service will be attended by the King’s representative in Norfolk, the Lord Lieutenant Lady Dannatt.

The bell will then go on show at Buxton Church from 10am – 1pm on Saturday April 22nd.

The bellringers and church sought permission from Buckingham Palace to use the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee logo early last year.
