Two teens charged over stabbing in Aylsham

It follows an incident on Thursday 22 May when a teenager was stabbed on Hungate Street.

Two people have been charged in connection with a stabbing in Aylsham that happened earlier this year.

The incident took place on Hungate Street on 22 May 2025 at approximately 8pm when a teenager was stabbed, suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A teenage boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and later released without charge. Another teenage boy was arrested the following day on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent but was released on bail.

Following further investigations, Bailey Mann, aged 18 and of Wade Close in Aylsham, has been charged with GBH with intent. He has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on 30 December 2025.

Additionally, a teenage girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice. She is also due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on 30 December 2025.
