Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder in Norwich, following the death of a man on Friday night

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a man in Norwich on Friday night (November 1).

Police were called at around 10.15pm to a property in Mousehold Street following reports a man had been stabbed.

Police and paramedics attended but the man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 46-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.

The 46-year-old was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre where he remains for questioning.

The 37-year-old was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was subsequently released on police bail until January 2025 pending further enquiries.

It's believed all parties were known to each other.
