Two men sentenced for burglaries across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex
They were already in prison for armed robbery

Two men who are already serving prison sentences have been handed additional jail time - after admitting to series of burglaries and other offences across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
38 year old Levi Hilden - of HMP The Mount and 32 year old Stuart Bocock - of HMP Ranby - will serve a further 18 months in connection with thefts in Great Yarmouth and near Acle - as well as a number of offences which happened in Suffolk.
Hilden and Bocock are both currently serving sentences for an armed robbery in Sudbury and will now stay behind bars for a further 18 months.
It follows an incident on 14 November 2019 when a woman discovered her home in St Olaves, near Great Yarmouth, had been broken into.
The offenders had used a garden planter to smash a kitchen door, gain access, and steal jewellery.
Detectives linked Hilden to the scene through DNA on the planter, charging him with burglary and theft.
Bocock, acting with Hilden, also faced a single charge of burglary and theft after a residential property in Limpenhoe, near Acle, was targeted.
Jewellery and a bank card were stolen in the break-in and CCTV was able to capture Bocock at Sainsbury’s in Great Yarmouth attempting to withdraw cash at the ATM.
They had each admitted the charges at an earlier hearing.
Police staff supervisor Duncan Etchells of the Operation Converter unit welcomed the sentences which would keep them in prison for longer.
He said: “Both Norfolk and Suffolk Police are pleased that this prosecution and the associated TIC offences have given closure and reassurance that an offender has been identified and put before a court for having committed an offence against all the victims involved with these two offenders.
“Whilst some of the offences are a few years old this will hopefully prove to be a deterrent against anyone tempted to commit such crimes.
"Both Norfolk and Suffolk now have dedicated TIC units who will always seek to maximise the potential to give victims of crime the best possible service - and what better way to do that than to have the offenders sentenced by a Crown Court Judge even after a long passage of time.
“We can only hope this case will ensure both Hilden and Bocock now reflect on their offending and cease their life of crime.”
