Two arrested after serious crash in Wisbech

Two people have been arrested after a serious crash in Wisbech yesterday.

A gold Nissan Terrano and a silver Peugeot 307 collided on Churchill Road at around 4:30pm.

Two people in the Nissan fled the scene while a man in his 60s was taken to Addenbrooke's by air ambulance.

He's now in a stable condition in hospital.

A 28 year old man and a 15 year old boy are both being questioned on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Both have been released under investgation.

Police are appealing for witnesses or for anyone who captured dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
