Tributes paid to "kind, loving and thoughtful" man killed in crash in Norfolk

His family say he "was a great friend to so many"

The family of a man who died following a crash on the A1067 Fakenham Road say he was 'kind, loving and thoughtful'.

Micheal O'Rorke, known as Mick, died on 29 September at Addenbrooke's Hospital, as a result of injuries sustained in a collision with a van on Friday 9 September 2022.

Now, his family have released a tribute to him, after an inquest into his death concluded on Wednesday.

"We would like to pay tribute to our father, Michael O’Rorke (Mick), who we lost tragically in September 2022.

"We will remember him as a kind, loving and thoughtful man who was dedicated to his family and would always put others before himself.

"He was a great friend to so many and touched the lives of many more, a true gentleman will be forever missed by all who knew him.

"We would also like to thank the emergency services, in particular the first responders, East Anglian Air Ambulance and staff at Addenbrooke’s Hospital for their care of our father."
