Woman killed in crash between Downham Market and Littleport was "beautiful, loyal and kind"

A woman who died in a crash on the A10, between Downham Market and Littleport is being remembered as "beautiful, loyal and kind".

68 year old Susan Folkes was fatally injured in a collision involving the Ford Focus she was driving and two tractors on Tuesday.

It happened between the Mildenhall Road roundabout and Brandon Creek.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, neither of the tractor drivers was injured.

A 40-year-old man from the King’s Lynn area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has since been bailed.

In a statement, Susan's family said: “Sue was a much-loved member of our family and her sudden and tragic passing has left us all shocked and heartbroken.

“Sue was a beautiful, loyal and kind person, who will be missed by everyone who knew her.”
