Cambridgeshire Police have confirmed a two year-old has died after being hit by a vehicle at a holiday park in Littleport.

Isabella Tucker, of Ronald Street, London, was taken to hospital by ambulance after the incident at about 6.45pm on Friday 25th August at Horsley Hale Farm, Horsley Hale.

Isabella was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in King’s Lynn, but died of her injuries.

A 42-year-old woman from the Leeds area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and has been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough on 24 November.

In a tribute to her daughter, Vaida Sprainyte said: “A beautiful daughter and little sister. It’s so easy to love you. Loved you from first sight and will love you forever”.

Horsley Hale Farm say they're setting up a fund to buy and plant a tree in Isabella's memory.

"She and her family are in all our thoughts and prayers at this time and we offer our deepest condolences to all who knew her", the farm said in a statement.

"We would like to pay special tribute to the team of staff working that evening who could not have done more to deal with what was a terribly difficult situation.

"We would also like to thank those medically trained guests staying with us who administered emergency first aid, allowing the Horsley Hale Farm team to look after family members, other guests and effectively get the emergency services on site as soon as possible.

"In partnership with guests staying with us at the time, we have set up a fund to buy and plant a tree in Isabella's memory."

Anyone who was at the holiday park and saw what happened is being urged to contact police.
