Thieves target van in Great Yarmouth

Police are appealing for information after two vans are believed to have been targeted by criminals in Great Yarmouth.

In one incident a white van parked on Lancaster Road had its window smashed, and two toolboxes were stolen from inside.

This theft was reported to have taken place on Saturday 6 March 2021, at 9:25pm.

In a second incident, another van, parked on Dene Side, Great Yarmouth, is believed to have had its window broken during the same evening (Saturday 6 March) sometime between 9pm - 10pm.

A man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with the incidents, and released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Officers believe the incidents are linked, and would like to hear from anyone who may have information or CCTV footage from the area at the time.
