Body found in Thetford woodland

Police tell us their inquiries are ongoing

Norfolk Police have found the body of a man in woodland near Thetford.

The discovery was made at around 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 29 May 2024) in Brettenham Heath National Nature Reserve.

While the body hasn't been formally identified yet, the family of Marcin Jakobian, who has been missing since Tuesday 28 May has been informed.

The force tells us their inquiries are ongoing but they don't believe the death is suspicious.

They'll prepare a file for the coroner.
