Teenager suffers stab wounds in Thetford incident

Norfolk Police are appealing for information after an incident in Thetford on Friday night (10th September).

Officers were called out to reports of an altercation between two groups of people at Blaydon Bridge just after 9.30pm.

A man in his late teens was taken to hospital in the incident, and was treated for two stab wounds to his back.

In a statement, Norfolk Police added: 'A second man, aged in his late teens, was also assaulted and received a minor injury to his head.

'Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information, should contact Sergeant Richard Moden on 101 quoting reference number 36/66640/21.

'Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.'
