Another charge following Thetford drug raids
It's the fifth arrest they've made since they started the raid this week.
Police cracking down on drug dealing across Thetford have made a fifth arrest.
Officers arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs on Tuesday (29th October).
31-year-old Ashley Holloway, of St John’s Way, Thetford, was charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs between May last year up until this month (October 2024).
He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday 30th October) when he was remanded in custody.
He is the fifth person to be arrested after a number of warrants were executed across multiple residential properties in the town this week.
33-year-old Christopher Overton, of Elm Road, Thetford, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Friday (25th October) also charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs- in the same bracket of time as Ashley.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court next month.
Three other people arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs were released on police bail until January, pending further enquiries by Norfolk Constabulary.
They are a man and two women, all in their 20s.
