Two teenagers appear in court charged with attempted murder following Thetford stabbing

Two teenagers have appeared in court charged with attempted murder, after a stabbing in Thetford.

It happened on Sunday March 10 on Bury Road.

The victim, a man in his 30s, suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, for treatment.

He's since been discharged and is recovering from his injuries.

Two men who left the scene were arrested in Kent on Tuesday 23 April and brought back to Norfolk for questioning.

Police charged 18 year old Elvis Price, of Amulet Close, Thetford, and a 17 year old boy with attempted murder yesterday.

Price also faces a second charge of possession of a bladed article.

Following today's appearance at Norwich Magistrates' Court, Price was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Thursday 23 May at Norwich Crown Court.

The 17-year-old was remanded to local authority care until Thursday 23 May, when he will also appear at Norwich Crown Court
